Denver Phil

It's probably important to note that Denver Phil doesn't live in Denver anymore. He lives in Des Moines Iowa, which I'm told is not an improvement by any stretch of the imagination. He has some sort of fancy IT job that, for a long period of time, seemed to mainly involve drinking Zima at work and making faces into the webcam in his cubicle.

For a long period of time, he was referred to mainly as "Alleged Phil" because, despite sharing many of the same friends from high school as me, I hadn't met him until about 2002. For the first several years of our acquaintance, our interaction was limited to sending peculiar internet links over AIM and each of us trying to convince the other Jill didn't like them. In retrospect, I'm not sure why that was entertaining at the time.
