MIA KARLSSON - u/s Christine 2003, Christine 2009

Mia Karlsson understudied the role of Christine in the 2003 cast. Because Agnete Munk Rasmussen had to leave the Danish production for a new job in Germany, Mia Karlsson got to perform the role the two last weeks. She also got to perform the very last performance of the Danish Phantom in 2003! In 2009 she starred as principal Christine, along with Teresia Bokor, and it was Mia who did the premiere opposite Flemming Enevold.

Her Christine has the most delightful voice, but even more interesting is that she seems to act with every fibre of her body. Excellent role portrayal.
