Regis: Nice to see you again, Daniel.
Kelly: Hi Daniel, nice to see you.
Regis: Have a seat.
Kelly: Daniel I have to tell you something... it is so exciting to have you here because you know, I've read all of the Harry Potter books to my son and the 2nd one is our favorite, it's our very, very favorite. So we cannot wait to see this film.
Regis: Everything she said is true except he read them to her. So tell me young guy, how are things with you?
Kelly: Now that you're a major movie star!
Regis: The first movie came out and was an enormous hit, well you all know that but has it effected your life at all?
Dan: Not really, my life's kind of... it hasnt actually changed, I kind of... like I get stopped on the street sometimes but that is actually cool because everybodys
so enthusiastic about the film, it's nice to hear what they have to say.
Regis: You started this movie when the first one was coming out, right?
Dan: Yeah we...
Regis: Started making it, I mean...
Dan: Yeah , there was like 3 days in between when the first one came out and we started filming the second one.
Regis: She has a kid and she thinks this is the best of all the Harry Potter
books. How do you feel?
Kelly: It's my favorite!
Dan: I read the second one and it was my favorite but then I reread the third one and now that's my favorite so.
Regis: And you are starting to work on the third one as this movie comes out?
Dan: Uh.. we start the third one.. sometime spring next year...
Regis: Oh, how long is this going to go on, I mean, you know, aren't you growing out of this role... your voice is getting a lot huskier now...
Kelly: But.. but Harry Potter also grows...
Dan: Yes
Regis: I see a few gray hairs here, c'mon.
Dan: Uh... I mean, I don't know... I'm definitely doing the third one, after that, who knows.
Regis: No, it's gotta be you all the way, how many are there?
Kelly: There's four and there's a fifth book that she's writing, is that right?
Dan: Yeah, I think it's gonna come out...apparently somebody said it was gonna come out near the end of this year, but I don't know...I think there's seven all in all.
Kelly: Now do you still go to regular school?
Dan: Uh...I get tutored on set a minimum of three hours a day and a maximum of five a day but at the moment, I am actually back at school in London.
Kelly: And so how do the students react to you?
Dan: Uh...
Regis: They don't like him!
Regis: Miserable brats!
Dan: Uh.
Regis: No, I'm kidding.
Dan: No, that may be the case with some of them, I don't know, but...
Regis: Everybody's a little jealous, how do you think I feel sitting here with you.
Regis: What is Harry up to in this movie, I mean, how can this thing go on and on and on.
DAN: Uh.
Regis: Is he still at the school of magic?
Dan: Yeah, he still goes to Hogwarts but he kind of.. what happens in the second film is.. it's like.. Harry returns to Hogwarts to find out that it's under a great threat of being closed and terrorized and by a very dark force so it's pretty creepy... you've read the books, you know and so basically it's about how he tries to protect his home.
Regis: Uh huh, alright fine, and there's a lot of action in this as well, right?
Dan: Yeah, definitely.
Regis: Gonna be a big hit, no doubt about it, and it opens November 15, now so what are you going to do with your life now? Are you going to school like you told us? And everything is quieting down until you you start filming again?
Dan: Yeah
Regis: Do you have a girlfriend yet?
Dan: Uh..no, I wish...
Regis: Oh like you didn't hear from any girls?
Kelly: I bet they are swarming!
Regis: I bet you got a lot, a lot of fan mail.
Dan: Uh, yeah that's actually one of the amazing things, it's like..because on my birthday I got loads of presents and stuff, it was really cool but the effort is just unbelievable.
Regis: That they put into it.
Dan: Yeah, it's really cool, it's really nice.
Kelly: What about the cute little girl that plays Hermione Granger?
Regis: What about her, eh?
Regis: C'mon Daniel, come clean, lets hear it.
Dan: We're only friends.
Regis: You'd like to put the cloak on her too I bet?
Dan: We're just friends!
Regis: Yeah, sure.
Regis: Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, nice having you here!
