Our testimony

Hannelore grew up in a Christian home. Her parents were pastors in several congregations of "God's Church" in the USA and Argentina. She became a Christian at 9. As her parents worked in different ministries, she could experienced God's care and how He made provision for her family. I, Daniel, grew up in a Pentecostal Christian family. When I was 12, I received Jesus in my heart. Soon afterwards, after reading Isaias 61:1-3, I felt God was calling me into his service. At that time, my family attended the Baptist Church of my town and I started working as a musician and a preacher there. After graduating from high school, I decided to study medicine. So I went to Corrientes where I met Hannelore. We got married when we were in our fifth year. We expected us to be willing to serve God wherever he liked. After we graduated in medicine, we were in practice as doctors in my hometown. There we served at church as youth leaders and in several missions projects.

We have 2 sons. Lucas was born in Corrientes and David in Chaco. They are a precious treasure.
After 3 years, we felt that God wanted us to be missionaries abroad. God used a letter sent by a missionary telling us about the needs in an African country.
In 1997 we were going through a very difficult time in our life. David drowned in a swimming pool and rose from the dead. My father died suddenly. We had a car accident in which my young sister died, Hannelore fractured her nose, and I fractured my column. But the worst part of it was the emotional trauma that we had to bear. We managed to overcome it after one year.
We moved house to the Baptist Theological International Seminary to study theology. Soon afterwards, we started hearing about the special situation in Mozambique. We had news from the missionaries who were working there, the Palacios.
God put a special love in our hearts for Mozambique and we started praying for that country.
In Buenos Aires, we attended Flores Baptist Church where we felt very comfortable. We joined this church and the people there welcomed us warmly into their fellowship. We began working as youth leaders and in the missions commission there. I also played in the praise and worship group. In July of 1999 we traveled to Mozambique and worked along with the Palacios to see the work among the people. This trip convinced us that God had a purpose with us in that place.
There are two big needs in Mozambique -medical care and leadership bible teaching- in which we enjoy to work.
Two years later we received an invitation from MAIN, a missions organization, to substitute us for the Palacios for two years. We could see that God was guiding all. . . and that the One who calls us is faithful. Now after two years of work in Mozambique, we see God guide us in his work. And it will be wonderful in heaven to see Mozambicans there enjoying the presence of God.

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

Acts 1:8
