Daniel's Ramblings - I don't update this as often as I should, but I try my best.
I'm going to using a slightly different format in my blogs from now on. Each entry will be broken up into different sub headings. Also, this blog is now viewable on facebook, so basically anything I post here, will apear on there... How handy... I've also started adding tags to my entries, so they can be searched and sorted...
<b>General</b>I met up with lindsey today, who has stopped off in Norfolk on her way to Amsterdam on holiday, (lucky cow :P). I think I must have gained a little bit of confidence from going to college, as I managed to do more talking this time around, and actually had stuff to tell her about when she asked what I had been upto, rather than my usual reply of "not much really" lol. We went in cafe Nero as usual, and I finally managed to finish my Nero loyalty card (which lindsy actually gave me with a couple of stamps already on it!) YAY!, I can start a new one now.
I think I must have been in a money spending mood today (rare!), as I spent a lot of money today. We were walking through town and saw a sign up outside HMV saying they were having a sale on Hot Fuzz DVDS... £8! I had to have it! Also i desided to stop by debenhams on the way back, and spent £8 on a pair of jeans, and £3 on a t-shirt. I also spent some money on college suplies as well, but that was needed, so doesn't really count. Then I got home and finally got around to buying the lovely Zebra print belt I had been eyeing up and humming and harring about for weeks, can't wait for it to arrive!
I'm off to Sarah's again tomorrow, we might be going to the cinema over the weekend. I'm going to have to do some of my coursework while I am there, which I don't really want to do, as it seems anti social, but it's that or stay at home and do it. I has to get done, and I'd rather go to Sarah's than stay at home.
<b>College:</b> I have just finished my 3rd week of college. I'm still doing ok, but the home work side of things id getting tricky. There is a lot more writen work than I had expect. After every lesson I have to write up a sort of evaluation of everything I have done... what I did, whether I enjoyed it, what I would do differently... that sort of thing... kind of a diary is how they describe it... Also there is art history, which is already turning out to be a bit of writen work fest... I have to prepare (but not write) a 500 word essay for monday... which basically means I have to research and write most of it, then go into class and write it all again... snore....
I'm still getting on well with people though. Sarah H, Wendy, and Kerry are getting on well, so we sort of have our own little group now.I kind of feel bad though that we aren't making more of an effort with Lolita. She's Latvian, and struggles a little (but nowhere near as much as I would if i had to speak latvian... or russian... see? I don't even know what language it is!), so she tends to keep to herself. Maybe I will make a bit more of an effort to talk to her, I know how I would feel if I was on my own in the class.
<b>Site updates: </b>Not much to add here at the moment.. but from now on, everytime I add or change something on the site, it will go in here, rather than on the front page, which I have now changed to basically a welcome screen...
