Last week was my first week back at college. Last year I was only doing one day a week, and it was in the evenings, this year I am doing 3 day's a week and during the day time, so it has been a bit of an adjustment. I was really nervous my first day, but I'm doing ok now.

The first week has basically been a relaxed induction period, getting to know what to do and to know the people on the course. I already know a couple of people on the course from my jewellery course last year, Farah and Pippa, so I knew that at least if I couldn't talk to anyone else, I could talk to them. As it turns out though it's a pretty good group and I managed to talk to a little bit to a few of them.

Theres a good mix of ages really... 2 girls close to my age, Sarah (easy name to remember lol) and Wendy. Theres one girl a bit younger (18) called lolita, who is from latvia, and I think struggles a little with english so keeps herself to herself most of the time. There's a couple of people a little older, late 20's i'd say, one is called kerry, who i have talked to a bit and seems cool, and another who's name escapes me and I have talked to a bit less, but she seems friendly enough. There is a bloke in his early 30's who I am pretty sure I recognise from my time at the hospital, I think he was in my anxiety management group, I haven't spoken to him yet. Theres's farah and Pippa, who I think are in their 40's, then there are a few older women. There's 12 of us in total, which is a good number I think.

I've managed to get on ok with Sarah and Wendy, and have gone into town with them for lunch so far. They are both very chatty, Sarah seems very confident and out going, Wendy I think is a bit more shy, but covers it well. I suppose that makes me the quiet one, but I'm used to that. I think they are genuinely cool about me hanging around with them, and not just humouring me, which I worry about.

Work wise everything has been pretty easy so far, but I expect it will get more difficult next week when the course starts properly.

On thursday I got my new student card. The picture is actually not that bad, which is an improvement on the last 2. The ink is rubbing off already though, so I am going to ask about getting a replacement, although I have been told bt Tj that I might have to pay for a replacement, if I do I'm not going to bother!In unrelated new, my fantasy formula one team, Puple Zebra Racing, has managed to find it's self leading the motorsportmumblings Fantasy f1 league, which i am very happy about! There's no prize if I manage to win, just respect and bragging rights, but it's still great!
