The Flow is such that it favors neither man nor government, creed nor religion. It is the vibration by which the particles that make up the multi-verse remain stable. It is the ultimate tool by which great men become great and wise men become wise. It is the river that carries all fools and the wavelength of all change. The proof of this is evident in the world today. As the United States has become dominant and thrusts it's hand forth to other nations the smaller nations become more chaotic as the United States becomes more stable. All things have an opposite that must be fully known for change to be effected.
The task of a person interested in utilizing the Flow is to always seek to maintain that balance, and thus does the power flow through them. Hence the balance seeking philosophies seen in many religions. All philosophy points to this conclusion. To do anything to exclusion is to become unbalanced and thus be weakened. Evil and Good, are eternally balanced. Never will they accede one over the other. The very foundation of all that is rests upon this. Always know that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction to balance this, thus while the equation may change infinitely the sum is ever the same. Things created solidify into geometric patterns and in turn for those patterns there is an equal amount of formlessness, without any set pattern that maintains the balance. "Dark matter" or whatever term is useful to describe it.
This is the philosophy of the would be Mage. To eschew both light and darkness, in favor of unity of all things. Perfect form encompassing as much as the mage is able so that the vibration, the Flow may be greatest within the mage. This is potentially the new form of government, an era of individuals seekign truth and thus personal responsibility. The form that may rightfully replace the old stilted "isms" of the 20th century. Such a government would by necessity remain balanced for to stray to far in one direction to exclusion would mean a loss of power and effectiveness. The individual would not be held as the pinacle, but instead the whole of humanity and beyond that of the world would always be first and foremost, for without following the true center and the greatest balance the government would fall, as all governments have fallen previously. "Love God, and love one another,"  said Christ.
He was absolutely right. God is the beginning of self, and all are parts of the whole, the balance, the Flow.
