The All New 2005 C6 Chevrolet Corvtte
The Corvette has been around for over 50 years. With a new genera- tion, it will bring along a more cut car, and bring the Corvette back into the generation of the sharks. With exposed headlamps, it will be the first since 1962(the first generation). It was inspired by the old stingrays back in the day when nothing lacked in horsepower. The new C6 (meaning sixth generation) will not either, with a roaring 400 horsepower, just five brake horses shy of the 2004 Z06. It will be a 6.0 liter (6,000cc) engine and will come in six-speed manual, five- speed automatic. For a 0 to 60 time it's at 4.3 sec and a top speed of 186 mph, it's worth $45,000. With a coefficient of drag at 0.28, it is the lowest in Corvette history. In addition the C6 is 5 inches shorter and 1 inch narrower than the C5 Corvette.
