| Are you willing to go beyond the "cutting edge?" How about a piercing point? If you want to be in on some real advances for civilization, if you don't mind sticking your neck out a little, read on. | |||||||||||||||||

| God gave me an idea for a new kind of business, a research lab that will license out its findings to manufacturers, so that it can keep on making new discoveries. Further, it would share its profits with the researchers so that they will be motivated to direct their research productively. Each researcher will profit from his or her own research efforts. | |||||||||||||||||
| Basic research always pays off, in the long run. On the other hand, if you lack the patience for waiting a few years (two to three) for a substantial return on your investment, then this is not for you. | |||||||||||||||||
| Much has been said about "cutting edge" technology, but what about a piercing point? | |||||||||||||||||
| To be in on the piercing point of research and the piercing point of technology is to invest in something that, in the long run, will benefit humanity and can be enormously profitable. | |||||||||||||||||

| Some say, "Faith is foolish," but I say, "What if they are wrong?" | |||||||||||||||||
| What if The Bible has everything completely right? What if Jesus really is the Son of God? | |||||||||||||||||
| Please, don't be a fool. The Bible says, more than once, "The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God."" Also, a man once said, "He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep for that which he cannot lose." He was talking about taking Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. | |||||||||||||||||
| There are many who miss an opportunity and wind up kicking themselves. If you don't know Jesus, right now, say, "God, I don't know what it all means, but right now I take Jesus as my Lord and my Savior, Amen." Otherwise, you just might wind up kicking yourself for eternity. Don't be confused, your eternity is more important than any research lab. Many have been presented with the chance for salvation, said, "Later," then died before later ever came. You cannot be certain that you will even live through the next hour. | |||||||||||||||||
| My son was killed in an accident at the age of fourteen, less than an hour after I talked to him on the telephone. Don't waste your eternity. | |||||||||||||||||
| If you have trouble getting hold of what I'm saying about salvation, find a church where they preach Jesus Christ and Him crucified and ask them how to get salvation. | |||||||||||||||||
| If you want peace, purpose, and power in your life, you need salvation; you need to know Jesus. | |||||||||||||||||
| If you do know Him, Christians, and all the people of Israel (often called Jews) are in this life to glorify God. That is a continuing purpose and will last you a lifetime. | |||||||||||||||||
| He also has a specific purpose for your life. I believe God's calling on you life falls into one of three broad areas. Jesus said that the first and greatest commandment is, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your mind, with all your soul, and with all your strength." The second, which is like it, He said is, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." The third broad area was defined when Jesus said, "A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another, and that you love one another as I have loved you." | |||||||||||||||||
| Therefore, God's calling is to minister to Him, to your neighbor, or to the church. Basically, He wants for you to become a channel of His blessing from Him to others. You may primarily fulfill your calling through serving Him, serving your neighbor (those who occupy this planet), or serving the church. God's calling is for you to be the best blessing you can be, right now. | |||||||||||||||||
| A plumber is a good example of someone who blesses his neighbor, if he does it, "as unto the Lord." After all, a plumber can rescue his neighbor from a flooded house. |
