In the following sample essay questions,
you need only to take a position, begin to
describe a single position and support it
with examples or reasons, and then restate
your position. Often, the TWE Test questions
ask you to look at two different (or
opposite) positions (Position A and Position
B) and to pick one. You must then explain
why you take that position. Unlike
Chinese patterns of thinking, only one position is
permitted in English writing, especially
in TWE argumentative essay writing.

things that you are required to do in order to answer a
TWE Test
