Finding Myself

Eyes dragging down to the floor and dragging along, pulling my mind inside my dislodged skull,
Thoughts becoming more vivid and fluent than ever before and my dreams of them are full,
Anything that can ease life cannot be a bad thing, so bring on what ever can make smile,
A medicine for the soul hides in my mind, I spend my time searching for it all the while,
Words leave my mind in a fluent and fast form, flowing freely throughout this land,
Leaving my mind, through my heart, through my soul, and being released onto paper by hand,
Wondering and gazing at the sky above and thinking how things could possibly be,
Trying hard to work out the path that has been laid and if it is the correct one for me,
Ears are hearing a million sounds in an instance, filled with the magical sound of bittersweet love,
And floating through clouds, glaring at the sun, feeling the cool rush of the mighty wind above,
Chills rushing throughout my spine as I hear her name whispered throughout the breeze,
Finding myself happy for one time in a few and gently beginning to smile with a satisfactory ease,
The traffic in the roads seem to spell out your name, each and very horn calls out your name,
And beckons me to fly over the cars to the other side, beckoning me to play the game,
Volunteering to give my heart away to you, ripping it out and handing it over as a gift,
Then feeling my soul, mind and heart turn from my body and slowly start to drift,
And that is the day upon which I shall declare this love that I feel flowing through my heart,
And that is the day, the happiness of my life should really, truly start.
