individuals who have completed online request forms for further information. If these figures are factored together they show that these employees have made, on average, 12,000 phone attempts to speak with and enroll potential students. Since the company enrolling average is about 2% of people who are called, the selected group has enrolled approximately 240 students.
The interview portion of this report was conducted with 16 people who also completed the survey. The primary factor that affected the size of this sampling is external time constraints. Since these 16 people were chosen from the previously mentioned group their qualifications to be participants has already been stated.
The samplings were selected through acquaintance and shared work experience. Because of the nature of the respondents’ employment and their immediate connection to the topic, the results are fairly sound. These results are easily generalized since the sample is a significant swath of people connected directly to the subject. This study could be enlarged to include a similar segment at other online universities but most likely the result would be the same. General statistics included in this report will verify the core findings of the research conducted for this paper.
