answer scale which was used. Then the results were also grouped into percentages by actual scale rating per question. Lastly, a mean average was computed to determine what the average scale answer was for each question. The last two questions of the survey were reviewed and compiled into 3 general conclusions that were conveyed by the answers given. The percentage of respondents who shared each category of answer was then computed and the percentage of answer that did not fall into the 3 common answers.
The interviews were conducted at a location away from the workplace to provide ease of conversation. The result have been summarized and presented in this report as succinctly as possible.
As results came together they were compared to the general hypothesis forwarded and conclusions were drawn. As many corollaries as possible were drawn to provide a maximum of support to the basic premise of the research. As a result the interviews combined with the surveys give a clear insight into why students currently attend online universities.
Results
There have been sufficient studies to show that OS and TS are completely different groups of people. The aim of this report is not to continue proof of that un-argued divergence but to find the root cause for the difference. The results of the quantitative surveys alone were sufficient to indicate the motive behind students choosing online education. The participants, from their extensive interaction with the potential students, indicated overwhelmingly that the OS enrolled in this university for motives relating to their careers either they; wanted a career, wanted to further their career or they wanted to change their career. This idea is demonstrated by the results.
