possible sources of error (Rudner & Schafer, 2001) in connection with this project shows that;
· The results of this survey are affected by opinion since that is what was sought; any participant factors involved are expected, anticipated and even desired.
· Scoring discrepancies is a moot issue since there is no right or wrong answer in a survey.
· The survey itself might have some flaws, in as much as the questions may have been leading. An attempt to mitigate this difficulty was made by including 2 additional questions where free commentary was requested.
One other precaution was taken by making the sample of advisors large enough to validate the consensus of general opinion and its application on a larger scale. Therefore, it is believed the reliability of this report is high since there is little room for random error and it reflects the target population very well (Rudner & Schafer, 2001).
It is believed that the above steps are sufficient in shielding this project from most threats of criticism the design of the instruments have been modified to allow open feedback and the interviews included solidify the findings of the surveys.
Procedures
This project began by reviewing a list of potential issues that should be addressed. This topic was selected because of the unique direction which could be utilized, due to direct association with employees who work openly with the subject of the report rather than interviewing OS directly. With this approach the information gathered can be expanded to reflect the entire target population since each of the respondents has worked with OS for 6 months or more (Effective Clinical Practice, n.d.).
