This fine looking Mantaray II is built on a 1963 Type 1 chassis with updated suspension from a 1968 Type 1 thus giving it a swing axle rear end but having 4 bolt drums. The steering column was transplanted from a 1969 Type 1 while the seats were borrowed from a 1986 Chevy Nova. With a 1 1/2 inch body lift to accomodate a larger fuel tank and the addition of VDO gauges, side pods and 1939 Model 'T' tail lights the results are
