| In terms of religion, land and people, these two countries differ little, not even in their intense dislike for each other that often ends in feuding. Many years ago, according to history books, the two lands were joined as one however the agression between twin oldest brothers over who was heir to the thrown created a huge wedge between the people and separated the lands. Now, though hundreds of years have passed, each country still supports their own brother, ancestors to their current rulers. Each land believes the other to be the source of all their troubles, though their land is not poor, neither rich. Whilst religion is not a driving force in both lands, they share a religion that has thrived since ages before the fighting brothers split the land. This religion holds that there are exactly seven gods, one for each month on their calendar, and one evil god that brings disasters in an attempt to take a 'month' for himself. Those who oppose the country, are of course, "working" for this evil god. Despite all this, and the fact that their people have taken on the qualities expressed by their reulers as suspicious and wary, quick to agression, they are forced to admit that Moorj has done them no ill and in fact has helped to control some fighting along their borders in an effort to keep it safe for their trade with Lorne. |
