In Proscorthia, it is incredibly difficult to introduce any change, big or small, as change is frowned upon by the religous leaders who believe they already know of the right way to live.
Sexist views run rampart in this land in detriment to the female sex who can only marry and have chilren. Men on the other hand, often become angry and guilt-ridden from a stifling religion that allows them only to follow in their fathers footsteps, unable to follow their own dreams. Their soul benefit is that they are not frowned upon, as useless, as women are.
In Proscorthia, if you do not follow the norm, you will not live happily.
