In Fire
"When you look into the fire,
What do you see?"
The wispy flames,
Danced excitedly,
As they licked at the black charred wood.
"I see life,
Brilliant,
Flourescant,
Soul-filling life,
Exploding blissfully,
Into a shower of sparks.
And I see death.
Black, numbing destruction wasting away,
To nothingness on the wind."
There was a pause.
"I see existance.
I see the circle of life."
