| Do I Make You Happy? | ||||||||||||
| Do I make you happy? For when you are sad, I am sad. Inside of me lurks an intense need, It overpowers my heart and emotion. Your pain is my pain, please smile for me. Please smile for me. For when you are sad, I am sad. It lingers within, and so I have learnt, That which makes your smile shine. Your happiness is my happiness, and your eyes light up. Your eyes light up. For when you are sad, I am sad. Compliments spill from my lips tumbling, Tumbling towards your ears for you to soak in. Your feelings are my feelings - I hope you like them. I hope you like them. For when you are sad, I am sad. The light in my soul shines only when your does, It is you that keeps me going. Your darkness is my darkness - can you feel it too? Can you feel it too? For when you are sad, I am sad. But you say you feel smothered, That your pedestal is too high. My weaknesses are my weaknesses - but I never knew it. I never knew it. For when you were sad, I was sad. Do I make you happy? Do I make you happy? For when you are sad, I am sad. |
