Well folks now it's time to talk about: SEPH The new member of my zoo. Having moved out of home, and leaving poor little Billy behind because he is not strictly mine but a family pet, I came to miss having a dog. I adopted Seph from the RSPCA and haven't looked back since. He's too gorgeous for words, and I tell him so every day (I fear he is getting a big head about it). Seph is a bitsa, no particular breed. I'm told he is a kelpie cross terrior. He is kelpie sized, a chocolate-caramel colour, but he has a more terrior face and ears. At the moment he is also very shaggy because he is in desperate need of a haircut. Seph is still a bit of a rascally pup. He likes digging holes in the back garden, gets waaaay too excited by other dogs and people and has torn up more bedding than one would think possible. >:/ But he's also a sweet-natured pup, loves company, and is on his way to being trained. I have him sitting, staying (to a point), lying down, and stopping before we cross the street on a walk. Like Billy he enjoys chasing balls, unfortunately he's not so good at bringing them back.

GINGER My cat, I own him. I got him on my 7nth (Yes 7NTH!) birthday and he's now 13 the poor old dear. He's only just starting to show his age in arthritis, but he still likes a nightly wonder and endures playing with Seph. Ginger is much more tolerant of Billy these days. Ginger is a large ginger cat (DAH!) with a white tum. His tummy fur is so soft and it's nice when he lets you rub his tummy. Ge can never get enough food except when his sleeping and since he does a 'little tommy tucker' and 'sings for his supper' this isn't always pleasant. These days he has taken to crawling all over me in the morning to get me up and feeding him. He's a loving pet though and I love him back.

BILLY Is a Silky Terrior and yes he's still sooooooo cute! Although Billy does not belong to me, he does belong to the rest of my family whom I lived with for five years, hence was, in a way, "mine" for that time. In his younger days, he loved playing with the cat, however he is now heading on seven years old and the poor little thing is definitely showing it. He'll play with Seph when they come to visit, but tires very easily and when he does he snaps. Billy may be cute but he's lacking when it comes to brains, he wont learn to come when he's called - though he knows his name - and I've repetitively tried to teach him what pat means so he wont run away when I want to pat him! However he learns anything that is to his benefit, for example he knows 'walkies' (when we want to take him for a walk), 'num nums' (dinner time) and 'getaball' (when we want him to get the ball so we can throw it to him). He loves chasing tennis balls and would do it forever if he could. I'm sure he'd try to but we are still waiting for someone to volunteer to throw the ball for him. Billy also loves tit bits, he always wants a bite of whatever you're eating. He just LOVES people food. He even ate a mint leaf (lolly) once. The only thing that we have discovered he doesn't like, so far, is pepper. Bill is the cutest dog I've ever seen. He also guards our house from the front window, watch out robbers! Billy update from when he was four. Also, the gorgeous sweety has learned how to "Sit", "Lie down", "Pat", "Stay" (a bit) "Gimme a kiss" (lick on the cheek, don't worry) and "Hug" so long as most of them are accompanied by hand movements. He also runs away from "Hug" but comes running for "Pat". He's such a sweety!

| Ginger decided an indulgence advisor was a MUST. But you'll have to ask him why. Secondly they have a message board. Yes if you have a question, my pets will answer it in the way they see fit. Ginger, being fourteen (98 to him) so I figure he must know a bit brings his cat perspective and for the fresh doggy-doo perspective, Billy or Seph will say a few words. And if you're really worried, Ginger can always get out his cat tarot cards. Look they're his, not mine, don't give me that look! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Ginger will now deem you with his knowledge... Oh yeah, and Billy with his smells... The following message was received on Tuesday 21st March... 1999 Hi Ginger, Yep, it's me, Keren. The annoying cousin who comes to visit about once every four human years. Being as wise and experienced as you are I wonder if you could suggest a way to keep younger, and more playful cats out of my room. Monkey, my cat, darts into my room as soon as the door opens, and makes it very difficult to get him out. Any advise on the situation would be helpful, and if Billy has any ideas, I'd love to hear them too. Thanks again for your time, Keren. Dear Keren, Firstly, being of such a dazzling persona myself, I cannot at all understand why any human would want to keep a cat out of their room. Secondly, what kind of self-respecting cat goes by the name of Monkey and acts in such a manner as to seem uncalm by "darting". This worries me very much. Are you sure you have not confused your cat with another animal? Human eyes are not so brilliant as cat eyes in the dark, perhaps you were mistaken. If this is most certainly not the case, and you are sure it is a cat, then I suggest immediate psychological help for truly, no cat should lose his or her cool at any time. If such help is unavailable, the answer is quite obvious. Do not open you door. Ever. it is a generally accepted rule between felinekind that humans must sacrifice everything for their cats, of course! Respectfully, Ginger. Dear Keren, Why don't you try giving them lots of licks! Licks and smells, Billy.
