HISTORY OF
Back to Daltain
In the very beginning, there was nothing....

And in that vast expanse of nothing, billions and billions of possibilities swirled.

And as those possibilities began to grow, they formed Worlds. And on each of these millions of Worlds, more possibilities were formed. And each of these possibilities formed whole universes around them as each possibility was followed through on its course.

     For EVERY possibility was explored.

And then, too, there arose the possibility that, in one of these Worlds, should one transcend their own World's belief system and discover the true Universe of trillions of Worlds and each World's trillions of different Possibilities, each moving along its own path.

This one was Deyne. And with Deyne's revelation, Deyne began to build the biggest, most amazing feat or architexture ever created in any World. Deyne began to build the Lost Temple. A Temple who's very existant would defy to the nature of the true Universe, so that it might stand beyond it, beyond space and beyond time. But a place so intricately beautiful and calmingly peaceful, that no one, from any of the Worlds, could possibly call it "ugly"*.

Soon, though, the possibility that other's would discover the nature of the true Universe, and thus the Lost Temple, also came into being. And so hundreds of enlightened travelled the stairs to alight themselves before the doors of the Lost Temple. And if they were truly there for the purpose, the Temple let them enter.

But as the Lost Temple began to grow with the millions of enlightened, Deyne looked to the World's and realisation came upon Deyne.

Without the enlightened, the World's were suffering. For without the enlightened, the possibilities were straining, dropping and disappearing.

And Deyne stepped up before the millions of enlightened and said, "Within the birth of each child lies an endless number of possibilities. And as each child grows, these possibilies are evident in the boundless imagination each one possesses. But as they grow older still, each child becomes restricted by their society, and soon these possibilities fade within their minds."

"And as these possibilities fade within their minds, so does it come to pass that these possibilities fade in the Universe. And should these possibilities fade, then the true Universe will draw to a halt, and then a new possibility will come to light. A disastrous possibility. The possibility that the true Universe will begin to uncreate itself."

"We at the Temple have a duty. A duty to reawaken those possibilities. To renew and revive the imagination so lost to the Worlds. And so I must know, who, WHO will step forward and volunteer themselves this burden. To carry back with them to the Worlds the knowledge that it is our goal to stir imagination to its highest, to encourage all, no matter how lost, to bring a Unity to all Worlds. Imagination is the true key, and I ask now, who has the courage to step forward and take it!?"

And with Deyne's words, there was a giant clunk as each and every single enlightened stepped forward with vigour to accept the Key.

Every single soul that had ever tread upon the steps of the Lost Temple stepped forward, right down to the tortured who had left World's no one would dare step foot upon in choice. All knew that returning to their World would mean reacepting mortality, and giving up the immortality they had found at the Temple. Not one quavered in their resolve.

"Let there," continued Deyne, "ever be enough only to sustain the Temple in its path, and shall the rest of you return to your World's and spread your imagination across each."

And then Deyne stepped forward to the steps of the Temple, and Deyne plunged Deyne back into Deyne's own world as a demonstration of that purpose.

And each enlightened returned to their World, and followed that Purpose. And they called themselves Tellers. And each time one Teller passed away, another was reborn. And each time a new possibility came into being, a new Teller was born.

And each Teller will tell you now that they feel a strange pulling, the pulling to return to the Lost Temple. But each and every single Teller would give up immortality at the Temple, for each is pulled by a great Purpose, that Purpose to encourage the imagination of their World.

Now that you are here, you must ask yourself. Are you, ARE YOU YOUSELF A TELLER?

* Or what can be considered their World's equivalent.
