HELL'S REPORTER
My sources intercepted this letter on it's way through the Australian postage system. Hmmm, perhaps that says something.....
1997
Dear Devil,
(Or no so dear.) I know you will be thrilled with that I have found in Melbourne.
It seems that you do your best (or you could say worst) work in the cities. Perhaps you can think more clearly through the fog and mist or the pollution helps to accomplish your task. Whatever the reason, there is plenty to think about in Melbourne.
HOMELESS: There are plenty of homeless I can assure you. I saw with my own eyes, a group of people living underneath on of the bridges. There are also street kids without homes and family to love them. And there are plenty more... Perhaps in the daytime it is not as noticeable but come nighttime, when everyone is ready to sleep, you will notice more of them. I encourage you to travel out one dark, misty, polluted midnight to see for yourself.
DRUGS: Your nifty little creations seem to be doing well. I've had a few chats with people working on different streets and they have told me that they have seen many drugs. There is even an extremely large debate over whether marijuana should be legalised or not. But don't get too excited, it hasn't happened yet.
VIOLENCE: I would have liked to give you a more detailed report no this but you have banned me from the Supreme Court as you hate it so much and it is just far to dangerous to travel out at night to see for myself! Therefore, I thinkyou have what you wanted to know.
THEFT & ROBBERY: You can find it anywhere in the city. Each building could probably tell you of at least two robberies they have had and many handbags have still to find their way back to their proper owners.
Overall you must recognise the influence you have here.
Not so lovingly, respectfully or sincerely,
Hell's reporter.
