| Born in South Australia, Danielle started ballet when she was 4 years old at Cheryl Bradley Dance Studios in Adelaide and completed the Advance Certificate of the Royal Academy of Dance. She then trained with Marie Walton - Mahon in Newcastle before moving In 1998, aged 15 to Melbourne to join the Australian Ballet School. Graduating in 2000, Danielle then joined The Australian Ballet the following year. During her time at the Australian Ballet School, Danielle received many scholarships including the Fauldings Bursary which allowed her to complete her training. Since joining The Australian Ballet in 2001, Danielle has preformed in many ballets including La Fille mal gardee, Giselle, Stanton Welch's Velocity, Voluntaries and The Four Temperaments. Danielle has also performed soloist and principal roles in Swan Lake (Graeme Murphy), Raymonda (Baynes), Symphony in C, Agon and Serenade (Balanchine). Danielle also danced the role of an Angel in Darren Christian Mcintyre�s What may come while she was at the Australian Ballet School. Danielle has also danced in the Genee International Ballet Competition in London. In both 2003 and 2005 Danielle received the People's Choice Award in the Telstra Ballet Dancer Awards. Danielle was promoted to Coryph�e in 2003 and at the end of 2004 was promoted to Soloist and was awarded the Lissa Black Memorial Scholarship, which she used to travel to Europe. In 2006 Danielle was nominated for a Robert Helpmann Award for Best Female Dancer for her work in The Sleeping Beauty. Danielle was promoted to Senoir Artist in 2007.
