"e are the music makers we are the dreamers of dreams"-Unknown

Clarinet-
I have played clarinet since 4th grade. I recently finished my undergraduate degree in psychology and music. While at Simmons I took lessons at New England Conservatory with Katherine Matasy and played in the Colleges of the Fenway Orchesta. In the present I am not playing...I just had a recital a few months ago and haven't had the inspiration to play yet. Once I get a new piece to work on I will once again be motivated. Playing in a chamber group or orchestra would help this as well, I should hunt these out or make one as I have in the past. I play a Buffet R-13 with a Vandoren 5RV mouthpiece. I also prefer to use Rigotti Gold reeds. If you've found an exceptional reed email me, I'm always on the look out for something better! I hope to start working on a Leonard Bernstein piece soon.

Bass Clarinet and Tenor Saxophone-
I play these instuments for theatre groups. Mainly St Joseph's Summer Theater, located in Needham, MA.

Guitar-
I've been learning guitar for the past 3 yrs. I am currently leaning towards becoming a flamenco student. My teacher has been teaching me tons of technique so I learn songs/music on my own mainly. John Gordon, is an amazing teacher (he can play and teach just about anything) and I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area. If you'd like his contact info please contact me.

Achievements-
Performing in the South East District Festival of MA in 1998.
Receiving an All State Recommendation that same year.
Performing in a semi-proffessional pit orchestra for the Weston Friendly Society.
Founder and Personal Manager of the Colleges of the Fenway Orchestra from 1999-2002.

Listening-
I love all sorts of music. What usually ends up happening is that I listen to one album continuously until I am sick of it or until my roomate is able to sing all the lyrics, not of her own free will. At some points, such as now, music has become less detrimental to me and this is ok. I still revel in listening, just less frequently.

Concerts-
Check out these local players. I checked out the Boston Modern Orchestra Project in late February, they were great with a full sound and articulate playing. My bosses wife is currently the composer is residence for them!
The New England Philharmonic rehearses at Simmons College.
Dinosaur Annex is a contemporary music group that my college clarinet teacher performs with on occassion.
The Harvard University Jazz Band is awesome!
