| Nile Monitor I got a call on one of these near Catasaqua, PA in 2004-in someone's backyard! It was captured and taken to the Lehigh Valley Humane Society-at least that's what I was told.. Although this is not that particular one-this is one, that was given up for adoption. Nile Monitors can become very large and dangerous. If you happen across one-call Animal Control, a Herp Society, Herp Rescue, etc-don't try to catch it yourself unless you have experience with large lizards. |
