SUMMARY

From Above the Heights of the Clouds to the Lowest Depths of the Pit DeeKayP Gen This I found really interesting. It was a long read took me about 2 hours to digest it.  At times I found it slightly confusing but it is worth it.
Early Days Sami-J Gen Episode tag for COTG. It
deals with Daniel's understandable reaction to Teal'c, the alien who chose his wife to be a host to a parasite.
All the King's Men Sarah Rochester Gen A graduate student catches the attention of the S.G.C after her thesis on the Holy Grail being an alien device.
Bitter Consequences Maureen Thayer Gen When Jack refuses to listen to Daniel in an offworld situation, the consequences are deadly.  The local population has lived under the threat of a dangerous enemy for hundreds of years, and the only man who may know how to stop this incorporeal foe fell victim to the creature not long after the team's arrival.   But when has a little thing like death ever stopped Daniel?
Angels and Vagabonds Random Gen This particular story, however, is set in early season 4. Daniel is caught in a trap and the rest of the team suffers along with him even as they try to get him out. Very well done story that illustrates the strength of friendship between the members of SG1.
Choose Your Battles Brionhet Gen Alpha Daniel
Breaking the Curse ELG Gen Alpha Daniel.

Daniel gets sent out on a mission with the newest incarnation of SG-11.  It's an opportunity for them to prove they AREN'T a cursed team, and that having Daniel along does not automatically spell doom for another SG team.

Flashback Ellen Caldera Gen Daniel wakes up alone in the SGC infirmary and finds
the facility deserted, but that's just the start of a very strange
chain of events that will eventually result in the trade off of one life for another.
The Thorn Beast Winterstar Gen After Daniel gets poisoned by a savage beast, the team
struggles to save him.
From the Table Multiple Authors Gen and Slash This is a collection of stories written by a myriad of authors (some of who no longer write in the SG fandom), all centering around the POV of a Table that lives at the SGC. Hey, stop laughing, the wooden piece of furniture won for best original character in the 2003 Stargate Awards. So go forward and take a chance. Just as a warning, some of the stories are slash some are gen... and you won't know which are which until you open up each individual story and read the summary
Meet The O'Neill's Wonderland Slash The O'Neills come to Colorado to visit their son... and meet his new partner.  Although she makes no secret of her dislike of Jack's lover, Margaret O'Neill doesn't realize she's met her match in "stubborn"... and his name's Daniel Jackson.
Drums Alyse Slash Want something to warm you up? This is hot. Jack sees
Daniel in a new light.
Reveries Alyse Pre-slash This is from Jack's PoV. He's retiring (again), this time
for good and he's finally able to have what he's always wanted.
The Drake Equation Eos Slash I had read this story in an zine and loved it then. I'm a sucker for Daniel/Jack stranded on a planet. Add in a little whumping and I'm one happy lady. Eos is an excellent writer and I recommend almost everything she writes, but this one pushes alot of my buttons. I'm going for a rating of NC-17 with this one.
Kodak Moment Luke427 Slash I've always been in love with Daniel's hands. And this little
almost-PWP story is prompted by Jack finding a picture of Daniel's hands with an intriguing caption. The author's official summary
states: "A picture is worth a thousand orgasms."
25 Hours Pepe Slash As the author says in her notes, it's a bit of fluff, but it's a great story showing how someone's life (or two someones!) can literally
change overnight. It starts with a Daniel and Jack who've been denying their feelings for far too long. And it ends 25 hours later!
