SUMMARY |
| First Enemy | Fabrisse | Gen | Set in season eight, SG-1 returns from a mission in which Daniel was singled out for a beating that left him with life-threatening injuries. The problem is, they are but the third team in a week to be attacked on-sight. The System Lords have apparently decided that the Tau'ri--and Daniel in particular--are the greatest threat to their existence. |
| Much Abides | Darcy & sami-j | Gen | When 10 year-old Daniel Jackson's latest foster father puts him in the hospital, the nurse in the ward thinks it's high time the boy was taken in by a family who will love him as he deserves to be loved. It doesn't take much for Sara to persuade her husband Jack to agree, though their son Charlie needs a little more convincing. |
| Words | Alyse | Gen | The fallout from a mission drives home to
Jack just how far apart he and Daniel have grown when he's left flailing for words of comfort that won't come. Jack's PoV. Daniel's been injured and while it could have been worse, Jack can't help feeling even as he's taking care of him, that all he's doing for Daniel isn't quite enough. |
| The Evil Eye | plumtuckered | Gen | I found this one a really good read. Full of team action and also Daniel whumping and some slight torture. Some gory bits but not too bad. There were also some good Daniel and Jack friendship moments and Daniel being compassionate and helping somebody else even at risk to himself. I really recommend this one. Sam and Teal'c to the rescue as well bringing in the troops. Good stuff. |
| Lovely | Martha | Gen | A kind of fragile Daniel to begin with and Jim and
Blair and eventually the SG team to the rescue, with Jack and Daniel finally making inroads back to their friendship. |
| Wrong Turn | Brionhet | Gen | Mainly features the "Profiler" crew, but is
centered around the mystery that is a young archaeologist whom the FBI's Violent Crimes
Task Force picks up when rescuing one of their own from kidnappers. He put up one
heck of a fight when the bad guys tried to grab him and adamantly refuses to divulge any
information about himself thenceforth... and running his prints through the FBI computers
slams into a brick wall of classification. He seems to know something about Jack, the serial killer VCTF has been trying to catch, and Sam, the blond-haired profiler who works with the team, but they can't be coincidences, right? |
| Standing Sentinel | Annie | Gen | Jack and little Danny make good on their promise to
visit Jim and Blair in Cascade.
|
| Working Through the Night | ETS | Gen | Missing Scenes and tag for Crystal Skull. I never believed after Jack and Sam parted in the hallway, neither of them, nor Tealc, didnt continue working through the night to find Daniel. |
| Unexpected | Annerb | Het | Crossover between Stargate-SG1 and House.
Jack comes down with a deadly disease while traveling on Pentagon business and ends up under the care of Dr. House. Of course, the rest of the team show up to give their support(and to make sure it's not an alien contagion). The real story heats up when Daniel and Allison develop a mutual attraction. |
| Honor Amongst Thieves | Cleo | Ship - D/V | The story begins on Vis Uban with Daniel trying to reconnect with his lost memories (Sesason 7-Fallen) but takes an AU turn towards pirating adventures with his companion Vala. It is astonishingly well-written and keeps you enraptured to the very end. |
| If I | iiiionly | Pre-Slash | Set early in Season 9. Jack discovers a no-Daniel zone is difficult to live in and finds himself swimming in the muddy waters of emotions in an effort to come up with an acceptable resolution to the problem. |
| Breaking the Code | Lady Grey | Slash | This has got to be the absolute most-romantic story I've ever read. I normally don't care for "permanent injury" 'fics because I like my team just the way they are. That said, Jack realizes as he's sitting beside Daniel's bed that he's been in love with him for many years. He submits his resignation (on grounds that he continue to work at the SGC as a civilian administrator) and begins taking care of the man he loves, all the while having flowers anonymously sent to the house, beginning with cards that state "translate" and "codex". As new arrangements arrive every day and he slowly begins to heal, Daniel begins to wonder who his secret admirer is. All he needs to do, though, is realize that each delivery is a message. They are written in the Victorian flower code, the near-forgotten language of lovers. |
| Tea-Time With the Gods | Brionhet | Slash | The companion to "Wrong Turn" is "Teatime with the Gods", also by Brionhet. It's slash (Jack/Daniel) and rated Mature. Although still a crossover with "Profiler", the FBI team takes more of a back-seat to the SGC team in this one. Rather than being a prequel or a sequel or anything of the sort, this story expands upon its predecessor by explaining who it was that paid for Daniel's kidnapping and why. Set in season seven, a secret society has determined that Daniel is their only means of attaining Ascension. |
