Daniel tries to navigate through an ever increasingly confusing world after he wakes up alone in the infirmary - you are never quite sure what is happening. It jumps and teases you and you are on the edge of your seat as you try to figure out what is going to happen. It is both dramatic and mysterious. Good stuff! |

We get new insights into Daniel's past, as well as both his and Jack's minds. The story slowly unfolds itself, first presenting us with a mystery, and then pulling us along with Daniel and Jack on the journey of discovery. |

The characters are spot on and even though it's a universe that S/J is a reality she doesn't shove it down your throat in fact throughout you're barely aware of it. There are some good twists and the nebulous hope of a sequel. |

loner, per se, who was always so very secure in his beliefs and abilities, now having to prove himself. Annie handles this beautifully with just the right amount of angst and whump. |

describing the pain of Sha're's death for Daniel without even touching his inner emotions
because it is written from Jack's POV. It is not over written or over emotion – it is like the twilight, soft and descending. Here we learn of a Daniel in love with Sha're but also in love with another. It is a tender touch to the story and a sweet ending. |
