Jack shows insight into his friend that, no matter how many times I've read this, never fails to leave me sighing in contentment. |
| Bonds | Sazz | Gen | This is a relatively new Sazz story
- just posted this year (I think in Sept). It is an answer to an old challenge but is an
interesting concept. Jack and Daniel are manacled together and trying to get away from
aliens on a foreign planet. They are separated from the rest of SG1. Daniel is just coming
out of his amnesia from his descension so they are dealing with who they are together and
who they were. The conversations are interesting and tight. The action is gripping. I can
tell you once you start you will not be able to stop! It is a fun ride all around! |
| Salvage Operation | Carrie | Gen | This is a gen fic (very long *and* it comes complete with Daniel
whumping). Rated PG it takes place during a rocky time in Jack and Daniel's friendship
(translation- Season 5). Carrie creates a fantastic scenario, with some very interesting secondary characters to tell a wonderful tale of how Jack and Daniel manage to patch up what was broken. Great story. |

It is linked to the Enkarians (sp?) and the Gadmeer. In this story the recently awoken Gadmeer race wants to meet Daniel Jackson - their savior but the Asgard send a cryptic warning not to go. Why? The story is complex and shows the Asgard in a not so holier than thou light. It is a well written story that does not stray from the POV with action, angst, team whumping, weird aliens and a self-doubting Daniel Jackson. |
