I believe that if you surround yourself with things of beauty, you will be happier for the effort. Unfortunately, since I'm a college student, I do not have the extra cash for fantastic draperies or turkish rugs. Moreover, I spend most of my time in front of the computer anyway, so why bother?

But what I can do is spruce up my computer to at least make me feel a little more fun, a little more interesting and a little more beautiful when working with it.

Since I have a IBM PC, this is easy. But you can be a GUI-Junky like me, too. Every time I change my desktop around, I will be sure to let you in on what design is floating my boat that week. Inspiration, ideas, or just a peek at what Daniel keeps on his desktop... in any case, here you go!
