Education:
Upon completing high school, Daniel attended Swinburne University in Victoria, to study Graphic Design.
Career:
He performed in the musical Les Miserables. Daniel says he "felt the lights on [his] face and the audience watching intently." It was then and there; this talented and handsome performer discovered his passion for acting.
During his second year at University, Daniel deferred to start a career in radio.
He worked at HITS FM - A youth radio station and also TTFM (mix), in Victoria.
At the age of 19, Daniel became the home game live on-ground announcer for the National Rugby League team, the Melbourne Storm. He played the character "Danny Boy" for a full season. His job was to rev up the crowd during matches, and it soon became a much-loved part of the match.
Daniel also had a six-month role, in the Australian TV show 'Neighbours,' where he played the character 'Sean Edwards.'
Family:
Daniel comes from a family of ten. He has five brothers, Anthony, Peter, Robert, Michael and Richard. Also two sisters, Catherine and Emma. Daniel is the baby in the family! And finally his two parents, Marie and Brian.
Pets:
Daniel has a Kelpie cross German Shepherd, called Elle.
Hobbies:
skiing, rollerblading, singing, swimming and running everyday for exercise. He also loves music and says he use to play eight instruments at school, including the piano, drums and viola.
For now:
When he's not working on set or location, Daniel still operates his graphic design business. He also plays 'Josh West' in the popular Australian show 'Home and Away.' Daniel says "it is a fantastic opportunity to perform with such an established cast and crew. Everyone has been so welcoming"
