| The ten most important things that a new student should bring to the USA |
| 1- Postcards and brochures from your country. 2- Recipes for special and typical meals from your country. 3- Photos of your family, to talk about them in class. 4- Your drive license.....with it you can drive the first three months that you are here, before you get you local license. 5- Your degree tittle (if you have it), and your university marks. The universities ask you for those documents to study here. 6- A radio or a walkman with tape�s possibility, to hear all the interesting cassettes that they�re going to give you at classes, to hear it at home. 7- Some video or newspaper articles from your country, so you can translate them for the rest of the class. 8- Warm clothes because there is the winter station from December to February. 9- A VCR and a computer are good things to bring, in case you don�t have it here. 10- Enthusiasm, wish to learn, talent, good mood and creativity. |
