The African Elephant project will teach the students about the elephants anatomy, their habitats, diet, life span, reproduction, senses, comunication and sociability. Students will gather information from books, filmstrips,and computers to learn the key characteristics of the African Elephants.

2.Illustrate that living things like elephants grow and change.
3. Communicate that the needs of elephants and other living things are similar.
4. Observe that elephants reproduce their own kind.
