A Rock Strewn Trail
The trail is dry, hard-packed dirt that has seen tens of thousands of 
travelers on their way to and from the city of Darkhaven. The constant
battery has had a substantial impact on the terrain, leaving it a barren
swash of dirt with little plant life aside from clumps of dry scrub grass 
growing here and there. The rutted trail blazes its dusty way straight
east to the very edge of the Ashen Forest, before being consumed by the 
trees and underbrush there. North and southward of the trail the soil is 
a bit more fertile and wild berry bushes and patches of greenery add a 
pleasant splash of color where many travelers pause and take respite.
