2113 News Update

The EWA is dead...... long live the AEWA!! EWA bought out by new owners, titles stay in the hands of the current champions but the roster is trimmed down. Federation is renamed AEWA (All-Earth Wrestling Alliance) by new ownership. The EWA tag team champions Fire & Ice walk out on the federation as it changes ownership. Manager Julias Bradshaw stated that his team were going to reasses their options while competing on the independent circuit. The AEWA tag titles will be filled in a one night tournament at the first AEWA ppv since the new owners took over. Ace Ozone has been put out of action indefinently after suffering a freak injury in a hover car accident. The Horsemen quickly filled his place on the team with the shock heel turn by Cody Christian, as he becomes the fourth Horsemen.

News File Three

Jake Cage is furious at the Trillion Dollar corporation. He blames them for costing him the EWA Heavyweight title at Event Horizon. The Trillion Dollar Man tried reasoning with Cage in a recent Television interview stating that it was all a mistake, he got a 'stunner' for his efforts. Cage says he will not rest until he drives the Trillion Dollar Corporation from the EWA. The Horsemen are said to be plotting the downfall of the newly crowned EWA champion Austin Storm. Expect to see Flair, Anderson, Ozone & Idol make their move in the very near future. Julias Bradshaw has warned EWA officials unless the come up with some decent competition for his Fire & Ice tag team soon he will take them to another federation.

News File Two

Jake Cage has sworn to win the EWA title belt in the tournament finals at EWA Event Horizon, he has warned all participants in the tournament that he is willing to do whatever it takes to win the belt. A surprise new tag team Massive Attack (Axis & Mass) has just signed to wrestle in the EWA. Axis a former member of The Suicide Kings befriended Mass while wrestling on the Independent circuit. Jawbreaker and Meat Hook the other two members of the Suicide Kings are not happy at Axis walking out on the team. Both men are seeking contracts with the EWA to challenge their former partner.

The tournament to fill the vacant EWA heavyweight title is coming to a close. The remaining eight participants (Luther Diggs, Jake Cage, Austin Storm, Gothic Dragon, Stone Mountain, Cody Christian, Kurt Anderson and Jace Logan) are to battle it out in a one-night tournament at EWA Event Horizon.
