Alison, the leader, has left the group. Almost all were very sad to see her go. But the game had to continue! The next challenges awaited them. Was the group able to finish them without their leader? Or maybe The Mole won again? And who is it? Who Is The Traitor? Who is.... The Mole?

Good luck!"

First to send the answers was Steven... He answered all questions correctly except the questions #1 and #8! Thanks to his answers the team lost $2,000 out of the challenges pot! They could only win $48,000 now! Steven thought that the wrong one was about the 29th of February. He was of course wrong. The next ones to try to answer were Steven (again!) and Jenni. Both of them answered incorrectly. He answered questions #1 and #3 incorrectly and she answered question #3 incorrectly. The challenge was worth now $44,000. The next one to give it a shot was Mark. His incorrect answer was #1! Another $2000 was lost. Amy also sent her answers. She answered #1 incorrectly... she gave an answer which doesn't even existed! Finally Robbie sent all correct answers and the team received clues for the webpage:

"Here're your clues!
The page you're searching for is a s-title. Pic of this game is on Mole site. One of the players have something in common with Space Odyssey.

The webpages address looks like this: http://www.geocities.com/daniel_agent/*.htm
*=the name you're searching for has to be without any spaces or punctuation marks."

The clues all pointed to The second Australian Mole logo, but Robbie (on whose site the logo was) decided to buy a clue. This costed the group $10,000! The additional clues were: "16 PLAYERS!!! What's an S in S-title? W-I-T-I-M site... Pic of The Game...".
Despite those clues the team thought that they were searching for THE MOLE ONLINE pic. The challenge was lost.

Then the group decided to halt the game for a week, because of Thanksgiving.

27th Nov:
After the break the team recieved the second challenge. Before this challenge The Mole was asked to characterise all 9 remaining contestants. The team challenge was therefore simple... but it seems that a simple challenge caused many problems:
"Your next challenge is worth $25,000 and is very simple! Here is the list of words. The Mole was asked to write two words about a character of each person. One word describes a good side of a character and one describes a bad side of a character of a person. All you have to do is correctly identify which words describe who. For each correctly placed word you win $1,250. For each incorrectly placed word you lose $1,250. If you place all 18 words correctly you'll win $22,500 plus a bonus $2,500 for guessing all words correctly. If the ammount of won money is below $0 you don't lose anything and you win nothing. It's the best if you communicated on the board. If you think you know the correct answer write a message with a topic "ANSWER". All other messages won't be considered as the answer. You have time till Thursday 6pm GMT to solve this challenge!"

The words were: Responsible, Friendly, Intelligent, Smart, Bright, Helpful, Cheerful, Approachable, Persistent, Passive, Obsessive, Arrogant, Annoying, Distrustful, Non-observant, Naive, Immature, AbrasiveThe team first decided who got which good words. Then on Thursday they tried to decide all remianing bad words... Near the end of the challenge they received a chance to ask 5 questions about the challenge. They could ask everything except what words each person got. The questions asked were:
1. Robbie: "Annoying, Passive, Arrogant, Non-observant, Naive. Does one of these apply to me?" The answer was NO.
2. Michael: "Am I really BRIGHT?" The answer was also NO.
3. Steven: "Do any of these words apply to me: Distrustful, Obsessive, Arrogant, Immature?" The answer was YES.
4. Robbie: "How many are correct of the following? MARK APPROACHABLE, STEVEN PERSISTENT, MICHAEL SMART, AMY RESPONSIBLE, JENNI CHEERFUL, JENNIFER BRIGHT, ROBBIE FRIENDLY, ANTHONY INTELLIGENT, LISA HELPFUL, Now for the bad ones: MARK Annoying, STEVEN obsessive, MICHAEL distrustful, AMY Passive, JENNI Arrogant, JENNIFER Non-observant, ROBBIE Immature, ANTHONY Naive, LISA Abrasive" The answer was 3... Not very helpful...
Then finally someone asked a very usefull qustion:
5. Amy: "Which ones are correct?" She gave the same list Robbie did. The correct ones were: Robbie - Friendly, Lisa - Helpful and Mark - Annoying.

This however haven't helped them much.
Near the end of the challenge they received their last clue. The clue was so straitforward that finally Amy posted the right answer and $25,000 went into the kitty.

At that point thay had $199,000... BUT there was something more waiting for them... Something EVIL... Something what I like to call DOUBLE-CROSS:

"Wanna have a free pass? Do you? Well I'm giving you a chance to WIN it in the final challenge of this episode. All you have to do is post a message with a title: "DOUBLE-CROSS". The person that posts it will get a free pass. BUT this would be too easy, wouldn't it? So you can DOUBLE-CROSS each other to get a free pass. If another person replies to the "DOUBLE-CROSS" message he/she gets a free pass and the previous person gets free 3 correct answers! But if another person replies to the message he/she will get a free pass the previous person will get free 3 correct answers and the 3rd person will get 3 free INCORRECT answers! But if another person replies this persons gets a Free Pass, 2nd-3 correct answers, 3rd-3 incorrect answers and the 4th gets nothing! So it goes like this:
The latest poster gets a Free Pass
The next one gets free 3 correct answers for the quiz
The 3rd gets free 3 incorrect answers for the quiz.

There is one rule you can't brake! One person can't post two DOUBLE-CROSS messages in a row! If he/she does it this person loses a chance of winning anything and you lose $5,000 from the kitty! Easy? Not really... If the first person decides to post a "DOUBLE-CROSS" message all won challenges this week will be lost and money will be taken from the kitty! It seems that some of you may win something but the rest will lose thanks to you. It's your decision what to do. The challenge ends on Friday 6pm GMT!"

Of course one person couldn't take two prizes.
Steven, Mark and Robbie at the beginning declared that they won't take the pass. Robbie even had an idea to give the first person who takes the pass 3 incorrect answers. A bit later Michael decided to take the pass. At that moment the team lost the $25,000 they won in the "Characters" challenge. Lisa replied to Michaels post and took the pass... Then Robbie decided to take the pass. At that point Michael had 3 incorrect answers. The next poster was Michael. Then Robbie posted again giving Lisa 3 incorrect questions! Exactly at 6 pm GMT four messages were posted. Jenni's, Amy's, Jenni's and Amy's again! The challenge ended. The team lost $25,000 but Amy won the free pass, Jenni 3 correct answers and Robbie... won 3 incorect ones!

Then it was time for the elimination. Jenni received another bonus point for sending me the logs of the chats that had to do with the chalelnges.

On Saturday it was time to eliminate the fourth person...

Who was eliminated? Amy had a free pass so she stayed. Jenni had 4 bonus points so she also was sure to stay... But what about Robbie? He had free incorrect answers already! I began with Robbie:

ROBBIE

LISA

JENNI

JENNIFER

Jennifer was eliminatd!
Jennifer and another person didn't take the quiz. She left because in the last quiz she had lower score than the other person. The other person was punished and received one penalty point for the next quiz.
Eight have remained.
Among them THE MOLE!
