Romans 10:9-13 becauese if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus [as] Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved: for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be put to shame. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek: for the same [Lord] is Lord of all, and is rich unto all that call upon him: for, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Once confession is made with your heart then in words of prayer to the Lord then as in all confessions forgiveness is surely given.

1Samuel 15:25 So now, let my sin have forgiveness, and go back with me to give worship to the Lord.

Psalms 25:11; 32:1; 78:38; 79:9; 86:5; 86:15 "Because of your name, O Lord, let me have forgiveness for my sin, which is very great. ; Happy is he who has forgiveness for his wrong doing, and whose sin is covered.; But he, being full of pity, has forgiveness for sin, and does not put and end to man: frequently turning back his wrath, and not being violently angry. ; Give us help, O God of our salvation, for the glory of your name; take us out of danger and give us forgivenss for our sins, because of your name. ; You are good, O Lord, and full of forgiveness; your mercy is great to all who make their cry to you. ; But you, O Lord, are a God full of pity and forgiveness, slow to get angry, great in  mercy and wisdom.

Psalms 130:4 But there is forgiveness with you, so that you may be feared.
