Kristov is the youngest in a long line of witches. She's learned "The Way" from her mother, who learned it from her mother, etc. She is still learning to keep her powers in control, and so when she does do rituals or spells, they sometimes backfire on her-causing her more problems than she had before.
She tends to be sweet and kind to all she meets, but lately she's been battling an inner demon-power has a way of seducing its users into darker, more destructive practices. The struggle is hard for her, even when she surrounds herself with others of like mind.
Recently, she has moved to Sunnydale in hopes of making her inner struggle (and her low self esteem) easier.
