Origins: Chikuma was born in the Iiga Village. She has two older brothers, Benkei Ichiro and Hajime Jiro, but no other siblings. Growing up her parents owned a small incense shop that they cherished almost as much as their own home.
When Chikuma was eleven both of her parents died in a freak accident while leaving the village to visit relatives; leaving Benkei to care for his little sister while Hajime took care of the shop. After their parents died, Chikuma grew shy and usually remained silent when in the company of anyone but her brothers.
Present: Being grown now, Chikuma has taken over the shop and the household responsibilities so that Benkei can go off and become a samurai. Hajime still lives in their parent�s home with Chikuma, but he is hardly ever there. She secretly wishes for a family of her own, hoping to some day be able to have something other than the shop to take care of.
Desires: Chikuma works a lot of hours in her small incense shop, and wouldn�t want another job. She enjoys seeing the people come and go, talking to the regular visitors, and running the shop on her own. She feels it gives her not only a hobby, but also a place in the village.
Fates: Chikuma will wish for a storybook marriage until the day she dies. Hopefully before then, she will be married and have three adorable children that she can take care of, along with her husband.
