"I knew I would have to dye my hair if I got the role. I auditioned as a blonde and I got the contract without them even seeing my hair dark! They took a risk having it not look good. It was a huge shock. I've been blonde my entire life. I was platinum blonde. So, it was from one side of the world to another! But I love it. I'm still getting a great response from people I haven't seen in a long time. They're like, 'Gosh, I really like your dark hair!' And I'm like, 'Me, too!' I'm really fond of this hair color, but when I see old photos of myself, I'm like, 'Awww... my blonde hair...."
