****** We Are Refined ******

I AM the Alpha (perhaps the starting point of refinement or creativity within a human being) and the Omega (perhaps the final achieved refinement or creation a human being progresses to).
How is this thought reflective or an allegory of some Old Testament creative process?
Well, in the beginning it was God who created man out of the dust of the Earth (the basic elements found within the Earth). Primitive Man, or Alpha Ego, or Alpha Ape was given life! Came into being! Was a vital part of I AM THAT I AM.
God then created woman, not of the basic elements of the Earth, but rather out of man's rib. God created woman out of something already basically there. She was a major part of the creative refining process. In other words, woman is the refinement of man or the refinement of man is woman.
It is therefore quite conceivable that those wonderful qualities of a woman (her nurturing, her care, her empathy, her strength, etc.) is the Omega state that a basic Alpha Ape is to progress to. How wonderful is this refining creative process (or spirit) within each of us! To move us all from our humble beginnings as Alpha Apes to the refinement of being loving, caring, empathetic, and strong Omega Men!
Oh how this thought must just send some hard nosed Ego Apes (those who refuse to change and progress) close to the brink. And our world today is filled with every hard nosed system and phallic symbol that supports this Alpha Ape stance! CBC had a good program on the other night about how the penis-image is very much in our architecture throughout the entire world. It says, "Mine is bigger than yours!" Here we are! An Alpha Ape society, refusing to change, keeping a third of the world in poverty with our "if it's not broken, don't fix it attitudes!" Such an attitude has ruled for centuries, dominated our families, churches, synagogues, governments, etc. Is it wrong? No. Well, maybe...
The Alpha Ape attitude is not entirely wrong. It is only wrong when one refuses to progress to become all that they can become. To reach their fullest potential as a loving, caring, empathetic, strong human being without having to be put down, victimized, dominated and bullied by systems and people refusing to progress. To demoralize, take away another's sense of self-worth, degrade, wrongfully dismiss, destroy, damage, label, etc., are all a part of a countering spirit, a spirit that does not create, or grow, or progress to the Omega Man state. The state of affairs within determines the directional growth and the final output.
