Hitler

        Adolf Hitler was born in the small town of Braunau, Austria. He was the third child of the third wife which was Klara Polzl and was a farm girl and his father was Alois Hitler and he was a customs offical. Alois and Klara was second cousins.
         Adolf's father was born to a woman that was not married and that woman's name is Anna Schicklgruber and a wandering miller came along and married the woman and became the father of Alois. Hitler's father had seven children but only four of them made it to adulthood. Adolf had a sister Paula, a half brother Alois, and a half sister Angela.
         Soon after Hitler was born his father move the family to Linz, Austria. Adolf did good in elementary school but when he started high school he became a poor student which in turn angered his father. His father want his son to be like him a worker for the government and Hitler wanted to be an artist.
         His father died in 1903, and Hitler quit school at the age of 16 years. Klara his mother was poor, but Hitler didn't look for work instead he would daydreamed, draw pictures, and read books.   In 1907 his mother died.
         Also in 1907 he moved to Vienna, the capital of Austria, to become an art student. He took the entrance examination at the Academy of Fine Arts and he failed. He tried ayear later and failed again. At this time Hitler avoided steady work. He would take these odd jobs like shoveling snow, construction work and/or carrying baggage at the train station. He also earn little money in painting scenes of Vienna and making signs and posters for the storekeepers. As he lived there he may have inherited some money from an aunt the died, but no one knows for certain.
         People who knew Hitler in Vienna would described him as a odd, moody, and easily angered. He would later write "Vienna was the hardest, but also the most thorough school of my life." When Hitler was young he learned to hate Jews, Slavs, and many other ethnic groups. This increase as he lived in Vienna. Hitler consider himself German as so do the many others that lived in Austria. Hitler had a great pride for his ancestry.
         Hitler was noy impressed with the Austria government , and which recognized up to eight different as offical. In Hitler's mind no government would last if the people of the country was all treated the same, but the people had different nationalities.
          Hitler left Vienna and went to Germany. The Austria recalled him for a physical examination, and he fail the examination.
           He would return to Germany and World War 1 began in 1914, and Hitler join the German army. During this war he was a messenger on the western front and was in some of bloodiest battles, he was decorated for bravery twice. During the war Hitler only rise to the rank of corporal and he was also wounded in the leg once. While he was recovering in a military hospital from temporary blindness Germany surrendered in 1918. Despised soldiers who hated the war Hitler was in love with army and war.
           After defeated in World War 1 the German people was shocked. The men of the German army returned home to a bankrupt country and millions of Germans could find no jobs. A weak republic had replace the defeated empire.
           Hitler return to Germany after the war and join a small called the German Worker's party. The group then change its mane to the National Socialist German Workers' party and that became known as the Nazi party in 1920. Once part of this party they would unite all the Germans into one nation whether they are outside the German border or inside the German border. They also said that they would mdo away with the treaty and have a strong central government.
           Hitler became the leader of the party and built it up to a respectful level. He also attack the new government and said that the Nazi party would create jobs for the people and to better the future of Germany. It was during this time he organized a privated army and they became known as the storm troopers. This group of people would attack Comunists And other parties that would try and stop the Nazi party. In 1923 his storm troopers numbered at 15,000 men that was armed with machine guns and rifles. Hitler used simple uniforms and the swastika to give his followers a sense of unity.
          In November of 1923 Hitler led a group of 2,000 or more storm troopers and sixteen of them were killed and Hitler was arrested and put in jail.
          While he was in jail he wrote a book entitled Mein Kampf (My Struggle). This book was about his beliefs and views on how the country was suppose to be ran. He also states in this book that it is the Jews and Slavs fault that Germany lost the war. In this book he wrote"Was there any shady undertaking, any of foulness. . . in which at least one Jew did not particpate?" He also said that " Democracy could lead only to Communism. Therefore a dicatorship was the only thing that could save Germany.
           The people of Germany shared his views and for that Hitler was released from jail. While in jail big changes had taking place. At this time Hitler went to the government to get his party reinstatedbecause it was ban when he went to jail. As soon is that was done he gather his new party which included Paul Goebbls, Hemann Goering, Rudolf Hess, Heinrich Himmler, and Alfred Rosenberg.
          Angela Raubal became his housekeeper in 1925 and at the same time fell in love with her 17 year old daughter and then 1931 officals found her shot to death inside Hitlers apartment. Which was chalked up to be a sucide. Two years later he had a new love in his life.
        Then in 1930 a world wide depression hit and Hitler saw this as a chance to gain some powerHe promise the people a better life and in 1932 there was several major elections held. The Nazis became the strongest party and therefore kept any other out and then Hitler went to the aging president and ask to named the head of the government and it was a done deal. Hitler was now the cha ncellor of Germany.
          In 1933 the the Nazis burned the parliament building and blame the Communists of setting the fire.In the same year Hitler got the president to sign a statement and this statement wiped out individual rights iAnd allowed the party to jail anyone with out a trial without Germany.
          Hitler organizate the Hitlers youth group and the kids had to attend this organization. They would do everything that the actual army would doand sometimes more.From 1933 to 1939 Hitler rearmed the country and he took over the Rhineland,Austria and Czechoslovkia. He the attack Poland and He made the wrong chose there because that started World War 2. Impressed with Hitlers victories Benito Mussolini, came into the war on Hitlers side.
           Hitler defated France on June10,1940 and pushing the allies back to the sea. Now Britain stoodalone in the war and then Hitler invaded Russia. In 1942 The Germans sank a U.S. boat and the U.S. join the war.
           Things were now changing and while empire lasted he ordered the death of 6 to 9 million Jews and the Nazis torure them everyday. In 1944 Hitler himself was almost killed by a bomb that one of his people planted. For that action about 5,000 people were kill for that attempted murder. In 1945 the Allies took Germany and in a underground bomb shelter he kill himself and his wife. A week later the German surrendered and the war was over.
