1. Wear Pink-tinted sunglasses all day-the world will look alot rosier!
2. Grab a girlfriend and make a double date with Freddie Prinze.Jr. You can go see his lastest flick, Head Over Heals, which comes out Feb. 2nd.
3. Have a V-Day picnic at your lunch table! Grab a pink or red sheet and have your friends bring in loads of sweet treats.
4. Call your favourite radio station and dedicate a romantic love song to your crush. Or just chat up that cute sounding DJ!
5. On February 13, get your mom to spill her yummy sugar-cookie recipe-you know, the one that's been in her family for generations-and start baking. Break out the heart-shape cookie cuter and pink sprinkles. Then pass them out at school the next day.
6. Spend the night with Enrique, Justin, Sisqo, or all of them! Program your stereo to sue up tunes from your favourite musicall men and have a dance party in your room. Invite your little sister, to sing right into your hairbrush~!
7. Love the earth! Hook up with a volunteer-oriented school organization (such as Koy Club) and organize a V-Day cleanup in your area.
8. Go to your local arts and crafts store and pick up everything you'll need -------- construction paper, glitter, slik flowers- to make your best friend, mom, or dad a homemade Valentine. It will tell them they're appreciated, even though you don't always show it.
9. Make yourself an ultimate mix tape- with crush grooves ranging from old-skool pop tunes (think Madonna's classic "Crazy For You") to electronia anthems (such as Fatboy Slim's "Praise You").
10. Chew hunks of watermelon Bublicious all day and blow huge bubbles in everyone's face.
11. Wear your tallest platform shoes so you tower over all the boys in your class.
12. Fall in love with a book.
13. Help your little brother swith his math homework. It is just another night, after all.
14. Make your grandpa's V-Day. Call him long distance and don't even think about the phone bill.
15. Invite a friend over for a bottle of sparkling apple cider served in fancy glasses, popcorn,a nd a game of Monopoly.
16. Watch Dawson's Creek. Are there any guys in real life who are hotter the Pacey?
17. Go to egreetings.com and send everyone you know a Valentine's Day e-card, The cornier, the better!
18. Go on a dog date! Grab a couple of friends and their pet pals and take a long walk. (Doggie bandannas are optional).
19. Invite your girls over for a slumber party, So what if it's a school night?
20. Write a poem.
21. Baby-sit for your neighbours' kids. WHy not make some money on this Hallmark holiday?
22. Go to the mall with your most stylish friend and model the fanciest gowns you can find. Take Polaroids of your dressing room fashion show.
23. Treat yourself to a professional manicure or pamper your hands out home. Be an ice queen and paint your nails froisty purple.
24. CHOCOLATE. Need we say anymore?
25. Arrange a girls-only skating outting at the local rink. You can sit out the sappy couple sessions. (Or Not!)
26. Show your body love, take a yoga class. Om!
27. Give sparkley heart stickers to everyone in your favourite class at school.
28. Pay a vist to the cute caisher at your local video store and get him to help you pick out something special for your "brother" - even if you don't have one.
29. Make your crush's V-Day: Send him an email through ecrush.com
30. Bust out the Ouija board, light candles,a nd have a seance with your closest friends.
31. Throw a Be Your Favourite Movie Star party for all your friends. You've been dying to dress up like Jennifer Lopez, rent The Cell and Selena, and eat lots of popcorn!
32. Break out your beauty booty and give give your best friend a head-to-toe makeover. Then get her to give you one too.
33. Wear that glittery body lotion you usally reserve for Saturday Night parties to school.
34. Get your game on. Invite your best guy friend over for a no-holds-barred Final Fantasy video marathon. Don;t stop until your thumbs start aching.
35. Lifeguarding? Camp? Part time job? Start planing your summer fun now.
