Caylie was a funny little cat. Although we all teased her on being "not very bright" she was in actuality very very smart. She could get into anything! We once bought her and Figaro a catnip scratching post that stuck to the wall with double sided tape. Inside was a compartment which held the catnip. I could hardly get the compartment together. But when I came home from school the next day I found the compartment taken out and the scratching post torn off the wall with no catnip to be found!! And over curled up on the couch I found the little brat cat, Caylie spaced out. LOL.....the little devil. She was fine. We used to say to her "she's fur, lard and very little brain" But that proves my point that she could get into anything and was very strong. |

This little cat could also open doors, cabinets, escape to the out side etc.... But unfortunatly one day she got into the garbage, got something cought in her intestins and died 2 days later:(
My mother told me that she hadn't eaten or drank all day, for this cat I found that very disturbing.... so we kept an eye on her. The next day was the first day of school for me and for mom... she being a teacher and me being a senior and again it was the first day of school, we both had to go... Caylie didn't look good at all that morning.... my plan was to take her imediatley to the vet after school but it was too late:( We burried her in the back yard and I enlarged the picture above and framed it. She will never be forgoten. |
