Danger Girl
Danger Girl is an American comic book series created by J. Scott Campbell and
Andy Hartnell, and published by Cliffhanger Comics. The comic book series was
first released by Wildstorm in December 1997 and is based around three very sexy
women who perform several different missions as special secret agents assembled
that go around fighting Axis war criminals. It has full of great art, stories
and humor plus the character designs are creative and interesting. The comic was
actually a spoof of James Bond type of spy-action plots, with the Danger girls
being a parody of the Bond girls. The secret ingredient to Danger Girl has not
always been sex or action, but humor. A healthy blend of all three elements made
the book a successful guilty pleasure.
History
When it was discovered that a neo-Nazi organisation calling itself the Hammer
Syndicate was plotting world domination, retired MI-6 agent Deuce gathered
together a group of beautiful women, each with special skills and formed Danger
Girl, his own team of operatives dedicated to stopping the Syndicate and threats
like it.
Danger Girl consists of three secret agents namely Abbey Chase, Sydney Savage
and Silicon Valerie former Natalia Kassle. They carry out missions on behalf of
Deuce as their boss. The team is active around the world and their main enemy is
Major Maxim, the supposed leader of the Hammer Syndicate. During their missions
the team has often worked alongside the suave CIA agent known as Johnny
Barracuda, and received assistance from the mysterious and masked Secret Agent
Zero.

heart-stopping femme fatale.
Danger Girl recruited Abbey and her expertise of ancient relics when The Hammer
was attempting to recover the lost artifacts of Atlantis. Abbey was an expert on
antiquities and how to procure them, often for the highest bidder. Considered by
many in her field to be a thief and a pirate, she traveled the world on behalf
of her clients, searching out artifacts. She decided that it was time to use all
her skills to do some good mission and started to work for the government. It
took her a while to earn the trust of her partners, but she has proven beyond
doubt that she is on the good side. Abbey shepherded the team to victory against
the Hammer Empire and soon became a full-fledged member of Operation: Danger
Girl, and since then becomes a valued member of the squad.

Sydney Savage used to work for Australian Special Ops before she was recruited
by Deuce to join his international team of female agents, Danger Girl. She has a
reputation for being both fearless and reckless. It took her a little while to
warm to the team's newest recruit, Abbey Chase, though they are good friends
now.

Hair: Red
Skills and abilities: Valerie is a computer expert.

youngest member of the Danger Girl Team. She graduated from the top of her class
at an early age of 12 and Deuce soon recruited her. Though she lacked combat
skills, her youth and relative vulnerability were more than balanced by her
incredible understanding of information technology. Valerie serves as the girls
vital communications lifeline and security hacker, and she has recently been
activated as a field op as well.

Eyes: Ice Blue
Hair: Blond

History
Natalia Kassle was first introduced in Danger Girl Preview and has presumed dead
twice, but she keeps resurfacing. Her latest encounter with her rival Abbey
Chase left her trapped in a crumbling temple that was wired to explode.
The sensual Russian Natalie Kassle was a former Danger Girl. She was chosen by
Deuce because of her phenomenal combat and espionage talent, among more obvious
outstanding attributes. She also worked for the Russian secret services prior to
being recruited by Deuce to be part of the Danger Girl team, so she often
supplied the girls with crucial hindsight to the Hammer Empire's plethora of
aging war criminals and international gangsters. Her experience made the other
women defer to her as the natural leader in the field. However, it was later
revealed that Natalia was a double agent secretly working for the evil Hammer
Syndicate. She infiltrated the Danger Girl ranks and nearly lead them to their
deaths.

Height: 5 ft. 10 in.
Eyes: Green
Hair: Chestnut
Skills and abilities: JC has skills in mechanics and engineering. She is also an
expert in explosives.
Preferred weapon: Colt Python .45 caliber revolver, big ol' wrench
History
JCs first appearance is in Danger Girl Playstation Game. She is an engineering
gearhead who joins the Danger Girls in the video game. She was brought on board
to perform damage control after the girls first major battle with the Hammer, a
battle that left most of the units specialized equipment and vehicles in ruin.
In the midst of JCs numerous repairs, the Hammer struck again. Deuce was left
without a third operative after Natalias betrayal and JC was more than willing
to step up to the challenge.
Deuce
Deuce is the commander and current founder of the Danger Girl to fight the
Hammer Syndicate. He was a former MI-6 agent who successfully completed several
missions for Her Majestys Secret Service against the Communist Bloc during the
Cold War. Deuce retired when the Iron Curtain collapsed in 1991. He was recently
called back into action when he was invited to create and command the worlds
first all-female espionage team, code named Danger Girl.
Deuce first appeared and introduced in Danger Girl #1. His appearance and
resemblance are clearly based on Sean Connery, including a few flashback
sequences where he is clearly seen in "James Bond"-styled clothing. Deuce was
one of MI-6's top agents so he was trained in a variety of combat techniques and
weapons, as well as a variety of espionage skills. However, Deuce preferred
weapon is the Remington 870 12 gauge shotgun.
Johnny Barracuda
Johnny is a handsome CIA agent with a charisma that even Abbey and Sydney have
fallen for him a few times, and Valerie is now linked to him. He is one of the
worlds greatest spies but his weak spot are beautiful women. Johnny first
appeared in Danger Girl #2.
He is currently serving as the official field liaison between the United States
government and Operation Danger Girl. He often helps the team with infiltration
missions and his skills were crucial in helping the girls stop the Hammer Empire
during their first mission. He is good at infiltrations and firearms, he wears a
WLS micro and his preferred weapon is Colt .45 caliber 1911 pistol.
Secret Agent Zero
Secret Agent Zero is a spy from an unnamed organization as well as a former
member of the Hammer Syndicate. He is specialized with infiltrations, martial
arts, assassination and disguises. He preferred the Katana sword and M1
fragmentation grenade as his weapons.
Zero was hired by Deuce to watch the teams back when he feared they were
walking into a Hammer ambush. Zeros past is surrounded in mystery and no one
knows what he looks like but he appears to have a connection with Abbey Chase.
His little origin shows that he and Assassin X used to belong to the same ninja
clan and had the same master. Zero first appeared in Danger Girl #2 together
with Johnny Barracuda.
Major Maxim
Major Maxim is the monstrous mastermind behind the Hammer Empire's apocalyptic
military forces. He wears Nazi styled clothing and a mask with red goggle eyes.
Maxim became dependent on the mysterious blue liquid which supplies and sustains
his incredible size and strength. His origin is a mystery and he has been
defeated twice by the Danger Girls. He was also buried alive at the end of the
teams last mission.

Danger Girl Special
This is a book that is unrelated to any story arc and just done for fun. It is a
flipbook with 2 covers and stories. One is about Valeries daydreams and at the
end of the story, Sydney and Abbey are seen coming back from a mission in the
Middle East dressed as harem girls. The other story Mod Bods, is like Charlies
Angels/old Batman show spoof. The Peach and Kid Dynamo make appearances as the
Mod Bods' archenemies.

and 3 Gold Foil editions
Danger Girl Kamikaze
This 2 shot story was done by Yune and Russell. The art is fantastic in manga-style
very different from Campbells style. These issues have the team fighting the
Kama, the Japanese equivalent of the Hammer.
J. Scott Campbells Danger Girl Sketchbook
This is a great behind the scenes look at Campbells creative process. This one
has his plans for character designs, action figures, the video game, and many
unused ideas, like a Danger Girl pinball game, levels that didnt make it into
the game, and many other fun bits.
Danger Girl Hawaiian Punch
Adventurer spy-gal extraordinaire Abbey Chase has gathered up her pals for some
rest and relaxation on the glorious beaches of Hawaii. We all know the rest and
relaxation can't last for long. Especially when one sarong-clad island mama gets
her hands on Abbey's Secret Agent pal Johnny Barracuda - and mayhem becomes the
name of the game. The girls find trouble in paradise in this one shot featuring
the artwork of Phil Noto.
Danger Girl Viva Las Danger
This special issue of Danger Girl finds the heroines and the cocky Barracuda
spending an exciting night in Sin City after having successfully retrieved a
special jewel for the casino's owner. But maybe they didn't do such a good thing
after all, as Abbey Chase learns an old tale of an ancient Egyptian pharaoh, who
discovered eternal life through the powers of a special gem that drained the
youth from those around him, just as is happening to several of the casino
patrons, including their own "Silicon" Valerie. The writers keep you guessing
right to the very end, with last minute plot twists and impossible characters
like Jackpot, the casino owner's assistant: he has a slot-machine lever for an
arm, and three whirring slot windows embedded in his chest. Abbey and Sydney go
"undercover" as scantily clad dancing girls.
Batman / Danger Girl
In the story, the Danger Girl crews have arrived in Gotham on the trail of
Donavin Conrad. Donavin, in turn, has been forced to temporarily work for the
Joker, which puts Batman and the Danger Girls somewhat at odds as to who will
bring down the criminals first.
This Batmobile is shown briefly, as Batman and the Girls race to the final
confrontation. Despite running full-bore in a 680hp Mercedes, Abbey and Sydney
are quickly shut down by the high-performance Batmobile, which passes them like
they were standing still.
Danger Girl: Back In Black
This four issue mini-series was published by Wildstorm, written by Andy Hartnell,
penciled by Nick Bradshaw, and covers by J. Scott Campbell. When a powerful
Native American artifact was stolen, Danger Girls Abbey Chase and Sydney Savage

ally named Ruby.
