What you will learn:
First Day: How to burn on Watercolor Paper using patterns below.
You will have choice of
one pattern for free.









Second Day:
Your choice--feel free to bring in a piece you want to do.
Bring in your own wood if you want...I will have some wood for sale.
I will have some small patterns for sale.

Supplies & Equipment you will need:

I will be selling some wood...you may also bring your own wood.

All wood for lessons will be 5" x 7" in size

and will consist of 1/4" Aspen Plywood
I will also have 8" x 10" & 11" x 14" Aspen Plywood for
Sale.

1.You will need to bring your own burner and burning
tips.
2.Three tips to bring:
1. Skew 2. Shader 3. Writing tip. (See photo below.)
3.Sandpaper:
to sand your wood smooth... 200 - 400 grit paper or finer.
4.Graphite paper: to transfer your picture to the wood
5.Red ink pen:
this allows you to see what you have traced.
6.Eraser:
to remove traced lines on your work
7.Razor Blade:
to remove mistakes and reveal highlights.
8.Painters Tape:
this is the blue masking tape..keeps your pic in place while
tracing and doesn't damage the paper or wood when removed.
9. Colored Pencils: To color the watercolor paper, if you want to.

We will
have a half hour-45 min. lunch break where you can either
"brown bag" it or go to a local restaurant.


Classes will be limited in size so I can provide individual attention.
