Thank you for your efforts on my behalf in this election campaign. Though my opponent received 91 percent of the total vote, I am sincerely grateful for the votes of the 11,580 people who cast their ballots for me.
Though the Libertarians comprise the third-largest political party in the United States, party members know that we have a long way to go to reach critical mass.
We must continue to reach out vigorously to you 11,580 voters who have turned to us because you know that the Democrats and the Republicans are not getting the job done in government.
By your choice of the Libertarian Way, you have shown your thoughtfulness and intelligence in seeking a political solution to the problems engendered by the sclerotic thinking of the currently-entrenched office-holders.
I urge you and everyone else to join with us in our quest for individual freedom for the next millennium.
