I have included a few pictures of my K&N filter upgrade(RU-4410), I followed the instructions posted on the MGBExperience web site by Hap Waldorp. The stock air filter base plate is counter bored to allow an Allen head bolt (5/16-24 x 1") to sit flush with the plate. This is then screwed into the stock brackets to hold the plate on. The filter set comes with a slot screw fixation band, like a hose clamp. This makes for easy on and off. I got my filters from Summit Racing, and the bolts from McMaster Carr. |
