Dash Replacement with Wood, and Fitting a Radio.  Jan 2004
I got the dash from Moss,  the holes needed to be filed to fit the switches and the lower brackets didn't fit my lower supports, I needed to cut off the braces with a Sawzall so the captive nuts would line up with the holes.  I had purchased a tool to turn the chrome rings that hold the switches on the front of the dash, it didn't fit the slots, filing it only helped partially.   The radio came from an MGB, and has a switch to go positive ground.  AM/FM only, I used speaker mounts under the dash from the PO.

Dash and steering wheel lowered to disconnect wiring and remove choke, starter cable and temperature gauge ether tube.

Wires look scarey, I labeled everything with masking tape.
The steering wheel clamp was loosened so it could drop down and give a few more inches for working.
Nearly done, the radio doesn't fit the hole correctly, so will use special face plate.
Dash from left, looks pretty good.
