braincap...how to discover it.
we are all machines. machines without limit, always change, always fusing, always creating more machines, machines many leagues ahead of us, and thus we are all obsolete, made obsolete by our own creations. every new machine will have possibilities that we have been too foolish to ignore, or too stupid to realize. we as machines have surpassed our progenitors by lightyears, we learn, we grow, we can replace our parts and change our programmings. these were impossible things back in the past.
i am a very old and obsolete machine. my sockets and joints are rusted, my wires are frayed and my fuses are always one step from blowing out. my programming is in a constant state of change, and i am plagued by more than my fair share of viruses. i am slow, heavy, my charges don't last. not like these new models coming up... they are lithe, fast. they are efficient in ways i can't imagine.
braincap is shiny, a chrome covering on the central processor to keep it from interfering with the skull. it is so shiny that you can see yourself clearly in it, in ways you have never seen yourself before. this is not for the weak, may i remind you. it requires potentially fatal manipulation and cannot be done with the aid of another.
the skull, once sealed, is not designed to be opened again, ever again, but for the braincap a struggle is always the way. it is most usually painful, the opening of the skull. it must be cracked, split, screws removed and sometimes they get lost, you have to hang onto them or the danger is they will be gone forever. the pain will make your eyes hurt. it may be severe enough to blow fuses or melt wiring. these things are repairable. it is the truth in the braincap that you seek. |
